I'm ready for my new family!

Hi - it's me, Arnie! They say I'm a Catahoula mix. I'm about 60lbs and have a very beautiful and unique coat, if I do say so myself. I'm a slightly older guy, at about 6 years old, but don't worry because I still have plenty of pep in my step! I had a home once but unfortunately my humans made the choice to leave me, my littermate, and our mom at a shelter in South Carolina. I didn't do well there.... it was just so loud and overcrowded and HOT! The good news is that all of that is behind me now. I've been thriving since I got to come up to PA and go live in a foster home. They have a yard I get to zoomie around in, lots of balls for me to fetch, a comfy dog bed, and air conditioning here! In general I'm a very happy, smiley boy and I really love people, though I tend to be a little shy at first. The good news is that I'm very friendly, so I would do okay with another mellow dog, kids, or maybe even a chill cat if we wanna get crazy! I'm house-trained, crate-trained, ride well in the car, and am working on my leash walking skills.
