May is a Beagle/Terrier mix, about 3-1/2 years old, weighing 38 pounds. She was found chained to a fire hydrant in the middle of nowhere. May has been an absolute joy to have as a foster pup who is house and crate trained. She loves to take part in household chores (as in she will follow you around everywhere and check out what you are doing) and her favorite activity is snuggling! She has been very friendly with our dogs and our cats, as well as any visitors, including small children. She is not scared of thunder and will be allowed to leave her crate and sleep anywhere in a few days, we are still evaluating her. She is very curious about everything (don't leave her alone around the catbox) and kisses everyone and everything. A merry (but well-behaved) little girl; a joy to have around. Loves dogs and cats on sight (very submissive) and loves walkies - we are working on leash training. She does tend to get excited about scents and loop around, more than pull. This should die down with repeated walks. She would be fine with a fenced yard as long as she gets to play fetch! She loves it and is very good at it - sometimes she even remembers to bring it back. Highly doubt she would be a flight risk but will fill in when we know her better. Her indoor energy is couch potato. Adoption fee is $400.
