I'm ready for my new family!

Meet Eden! She is a beautiful, 50 pound, 1 year old German Shepherd mix who is ready for her forever home. Her last few months at the shelter had been busy for her, so she’s been spending her time here getting used to the comforts of living in a home. She’s house-trained and loves the praise she receives after going outside. She is working on crate training - she is a little hesitant to go in, but once there she is quiet and calm. She sleeps quietly in her bed overnight. Eden takes treats gently and has learned sit as her first command. Like any German Shepherd, she is very smart and eager to learn new things. She’s working on walking with a leash - she doesn't pull until she is ready to go home, but does walk a bit like a drunken sailor.  She loves to make sure her people are safe and even though she’d rather be napping, she will be right by your side as you check chores off the list. Eden has been playful around other dogs she meets and would love another furry friend to look up to and play with. She will also be happy as a solo dog, so long as there is a nice yard for her to zoomie around in. She hops like a bunny when she plays with her toys and loves being spoiled with treats and scratches.  Adoption fee is $450.
