I'm ready for my new family!

Toonie, affectionately known as Toon Toon and Looney Toon in her foster house needs a special family that will be committed to her and the life that she deserves! Toonie is a 110 pound 3 year old Newfoundland. She underwent right TPLO surgery when she arrived to the rescue and has fully recovered in her foster home! Toonie prefers a quieter foster home, and will need a home with breed/large dog experience. While Toonie is great visiting the local brewery or at a family party on a leash, she is not meant for homes with small children or close neighbors. Toonie is dog friendly with dogs of all sizes but with her size and excitement she can sometimes scare them, so she will need slow introductions. No cats or small animals as she has demonstrated some pray drive tendencies. Toonie loves walks but this great big world is still new to her and she does become reactive to cars, trying to play with them as they drive by. She also loves to bark at dogs and other animals on the TV. She is crate trained and perfectly potty trained. Her foster mom and dad are working really hard on all of her quirks and she is getting better every day, but it has taken lots of time, energy, trust, and training. This big girl deserves the world!
