I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! This is Tibia is a 2 year old, 20 pound Chihuahua mix. She is a little shy at first, but so lovable once she warms up. She came to HAL from SC after she was picked up on the side of the road with her other three siblings. Poor Tibia was pregnant, and heartworm positive. Homes have been found for her puppies, and Tibia has now completed her heartworm treatment. This poor girl is feeling great and ready to find a loving family of her own.   She is initially nervous of strangers as she has never had a real home of her own.  She is very loving and affectionate once she knows you are a friend.  Tibia is still very young, and loves to play with her foster siblings. She is not very vocal, though she will whine slightly when she wants your attention and wants to be petted. She is quiet in her crate. Tibia does not want to walk on the leash as she still seems unsure of unfamiliar surroundings, so a fenced in yard is needed.   Tibia is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on shots.
